IGAPE: Who are we?
The Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (IGAPE) is a public body that was created in 1993 as part of the Regional Ministry of Economy and Finance of the regional government or Xunta. Its mission
is to promote the creation of new companies, support improvements in productivity and competitiveness in companies already installed in the Autonomous Community, attract foreign investment and facilitate the internationalisation of its productive fabric.
Amongst the main functions of the IGAPE are managing and processing incentives for investment through grants and funding made available for projects undertaken in the Autonomous Community of Galicia. Integral Support Service for investors
Thanks to its highly qualified technical personnel, the IGAPE is able to offer an exclusive technical support service for investors aimed at guaranteeing an excellent working environment for the correct management and development of their project.
As part of the process of making its services and funding available to users, it has regional offices in Galicia's seven main cities, and an external network of Business Promotion Centres that serve as a communications bridge, supporting international business projects that are created in their respective areas of influence or in Galicia. Excellent conditions for investment
Since 2007, Galicia is a Convergence Objective of the European Union,
meaning that non-refundable grants may be given of up to 30% of the subsidisable investment, being one of the best offers for financial support within the EU. This, combined with its modern infrastructures and competitive labour costs, make Galicia a serious choice to be considered for projects of this kind. |
